Event Details

This hands-on workshop will allow participants to advance their understanding of some more complex functions and features of Excel by completing various instructor-led exercises. It is recommended as a follow-up to the Excel Basics course.

Course Objectives:

Using complex numerical and textual formulas
Creating and inserting drop-down lists
Converting data into detailed, customized charts and Pivot Tables
Incorporating formatting such as freezing and merging, as well as conditional formatting
Importing data into worksheets from other sources

Target Audience: All staff and students.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Prerequisite: Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills

Cancellation: If you have registered for a Library workshop, and you are not able to attend, please email or call 416-864-5059. There may be a waiting list of people who want to attend. If there are less than three registrants the day prior to a workshop it will be canceled and registrants will be notified via email. Workshops with less than three attendees 10 minutes after the scheduled start time may be canceled at the discretion of the instructor.
