Research Training Centre: Library

At the Health Sciences Library, traditional collections blend with the digital world and expert services to support St. Michael’s mission of innovative patient care, teaching and research. Here you can find health information and research resources through online databases and more than 3000 electronic journals, online tools and books.

Our expert staff can assist you to conduct literature searches, offer database search training, conduct systematic reviews, and procure items not found in our collection (interlibrary loan). For information and a listing of all Library Workshops, click here.

For more information contact us at hslibrary@smh.ca or 416-864-5059.

We are located on the third floor of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute (LKSKI) next to the bridge, and are open Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 6:00PM. Research staff and students with badge access to LKSKI after-hours may access the Library and Computer Lab space after 6PM and on weekends using their St. Michael’s Hospital ID badge.

Visit the Health Sciences Library website (internal only) to learn more about the services and resources available to you. Staff and students may access the library from remote locations by following directions in the For Staff section.
