 What can you do with access to MyBusiness?

You can access your financial and payroll reports through the MyBusiness dashboard on the St. Michael’s Hospital Intranet.

How do I obtain access to MyBusiness to all or specific activities

Option 1: If you, as the account holder, would like to give your research staff access to all of your activities, please use the following template and email the completed version to your Research Financial Analyst.

“I, Dr.____________, would like to grant _____________ access to all of my Research Activities.”

Note: Granting access to all activities would mean access to all activities/accounts, including new ones in the future

Option 2: If you, as the account holder, would like to give your research staff access to specific activities, please use the following template and email the amended version to your Research Financial Analyst.

“I, Dr.____________, would like to grant _____________ access to the following Research Activities:”

  1.  Research Activity:
  2. Access to Financial Report: Yes/No
  3. Access to Payroll Report: Yes/No

Please complete the above three items for each of the activities/accounts that you would like to grant access to.

How do I run a payroll report?

How can I make payroll changes?

If you need to change an accounting unit and activity for payroll, please follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the Employee Change Form
  2. Email the completed form to your designated Research Financial Analyst

How do I run a transaction report?

Transactional Reports are reports which go in depth about Research Activity balances, spent amount per expense (account) codes and detailed information regarding activity information.
