LaTeX is a free document creation alternative to MS Word which specializes in creation of professional documents like manuscripts, resumes, and theses. LaTeX is the de facto standard in academic publishing, and offers numerous advantages for typesetting math, including figures, and managing references. In this workshop, you will create a simple LaTeX document, and practice using some basic LaTeX features.
