The University of Toronto is proud to welcome Dr. Matthew Fenton, Director of the Division of Extramural Activities in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), who will be presenting “NIH 101” to our Research Community. We invite all who wish to learn more about applying to NIH to attend this 60-minute session. Afterwards, Dr. Fenton will remain available to discuss questions with faculty, students, and post-doctoral fellows.
This presentation will provide an overview of the NIH, its internal organization, its operations, how research priorities are established, and how funding decisions are made.
