11may1:00 pm- 4:00 pmNew Live Cell Imaging Facility

Event Details

Over the past year we have been working on constructing a facility to house our new live cell imaging equipment. This space is located in room 778 and contains a small preparation area as well as space for our new microscope systems which include, a TIRF/Spinning Disk confocal microscope, a Spinning Disc confocal microscope and a wide field FLIM microscope. The new equipment was obtained through CFI funded grants (Dr. Lee, Szaszi and Kapus), and through donations from Dr. Marsden and Dr. Kuebler. A special thanks to all those involved.

To promote the use of these new technologies, there will be no user fees for TIRF and FLIM equipment usage. Please contact Caterina if you are interested in using any of these new systems. Finally, please remember to join us at the Live Cell Imaging Facility Open House where you will learn about the new systems and how they can be applied to your research.
