Are you a student in a medical or health program? Do you want to know what it takes to work in the humanitarian field?
If you want to find out how to be part of the Red Cross Movement and contribute to its mission, come and meet representatives of the Canadian Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The ICRC’s mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance. Emergencies are unpredictable, so a rapid deployment capability is hugely important. The ICRC achieves its mission through three main field activities: Protection, Assistance and Prevention.
