Dr. David Gomez is an Acute Care and Trauma surgeon at St. Michael’s Hospital and a Scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Surgery as well as a Scientist at ICES.

His main research interests include the evaluation of enablers and barriers of access to timely and quality emergency surgery.
