The Bioimaging facility offers imaging technology for the researchers outside of St. Michael’s Hospital on a fee-for-service basis (fee schedule). Prior to accessing the equipment, it is recommended to contact the Bioimaging specialist in order to discuss the intended experiment(s), to identify any experimental considerations, and to determine which equipment is best suited to your needs.
Following this initial consultation, an orientation and training with the Bioimaging specialist will be arranged. Each lab must fill out an external PI registration form and a sample registration form which are mostly intended to identify any biohazardous risk in the samples being brought to the facility.
Once training is completed and you are able to proficiently use the equipment, you will receive independent access.
